Leigh Anne Gillespie, Accompanist, has been a professional musician since the age of 16. Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, she has lived in California for nine years. Currently she resides in Idyllwild, where she teaches in the Moving Pictures Department at Idyllwild Arts Academy. She holds an M.F.A. in Electronic Music from Mills College, a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from George Mason University, and has studied piano with Dean Sanders at the University of Illinois. Her varied career has included playing for major dance companies such as the Joffrey Ballet and the Washington Ballet, running her own video production company, composing, creating multimedia art, and designing sound effects and music for the LeapFrog Company's educational toys.
